A couple months ago this St. Pete Beach maternity session started with embraces among tall grass between Eleesha and David and ended with twirls beside the vast Gulf of Mexico.
To be honest, I used to think I didn’t like maternity sessions. But then I changed my thinking around the stuffy, traditional way of taking maternity photos and now I’m truly OBSESSED. Seeing how much the mama-to-be glows, how the hubby can’t stop looking at her, and just the complete miracle that I’m photographing someone who is bringing a whole human into the world blows my mind.
It’s always special when you get to photograph people who are a part of your life outside of your career as a photographer. My husband and I have known Eleesha and David for just over two years now, because we are all heavily involved in our church.
Seeing them content with life lounging around St. Pete Beach and making the transition of a family of three has been so special. The love they have for each other and their little one is seen on their faces in these photos.
Take a look into our evening below.
